The public should stay tuned to local television and radio stations and stay aware of the present weather situation.
- Keep vehicles filled with gas.
- Have an evacuation plan as well as an alternate plan if you are not evacuating.
- Advise out of town friends and family what your plan is.

- Put your medication, important documents and extra cash somewhere they can be gathered quickly.
- Make plans for your pets – please don’t leave them behind!
