    DISASTER/EMERGENCY SERVICES
    Emergency Services Specialist, Corpus Christi, TX. Serves as the primary Emergency Service representative to build capacity and provide immediate emergency assistance within an assigned geographical area. Recruits, trains and develops local volunteers to deliver emergency and disaster services for local incidents and initiates response for larger incidents.  Conducts interviews and ensures all paperwork and training is completed for entry into the DSHR system.  Primary responsibility for ensuring appropriate response to local emergency and disaster preparedness and response activities, including presentations, workshops and events.  Responds to Disaster Action Team calls within assigned area when Disaster Action Team volunteers are not available.  May be asked to provide back-up coverage to other geographic areas if necessary.  Performs follow-up casework for Disaster, Service to Armed Forces and International Social Services and ensures data is entered in appropriate database (Client Assistance System, SAF Self-Serve). Experience working with volunteers strongly desired.  Strong computer skills to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and various databases desirable.     Field Services Manager, Harlingen, TX. Responsible for the overall coordinating, organizing and directing of emergency response activities within a defined regional area. Responsible for capacity building and ensuring an adequate volunteer staff is available to deliver services. Directly supervises 1-2 Emergency Services Specialists also assigned to a defined jurisdiction. College degree (BS/BA) in business, emergency management or non-profit administration preferred but will consider relevant work experience. Previous experience in ARC disaster services both locally and within the DSHR system as a job director is a plus. Good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to interact effectively with donors, volunteers, and staff. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with volunteers strongly desired.     FLEET & FACILITIES
    Fleet & Facilities Specialist, Houston, TX. The Facilities Specialist is accountable for routine activities in support of American Red Cross facilities and vehicle fleets. In this position candidate will perform routine facilities and fleet preventative maintenance, assists in the preparation, implementation and maintenance of a preventative maintenance program for all facilities and fleet vehicles, conduct regular facility &/or fleet inspections and walk-through to identify items needing attention and ensure safety and set up and break down furniture and equipment for meetings and special events. Will be responsible for some janitorial duties as necessary and on days when external janitorial service is not provided. Candidate must be available to road test and fuel fleet vehicles as necessary, and handle roadside assistance and emergencies for fleet vehicles as necessary.
