Water Safety Outreach Presentations—Parent Orientation to Swim Lessons
 To provide parents with an orientation to American Red Cross swimming lessons offered at local aquatic facility.
 
Learn-to-Swim Level 4-Stroke Improvement
To build student confidence and performance of the swimming strokes learned in Level 3 by providing
additional guided practice. Participants must have American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Level 3: Stroke
Development certificate or demonstrate all completion requirements in Level 3.
 
Learn-to-Swim Level 5-Stroke Refinement
To build on the skills in Level 4 by providing additional guided
practice. Participants must have American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Level 4: Fundamental
Aquatic Skills certificate or demonstrate all completion requirements in Level 4.
 
Learn-to-Swim Level 6-Fitness Swimmer
To refine strokes so students swim with more ease, efficiency, power and smoothness over greater distances.
Participants must have American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Level 5 Stroke Refinement certificate or demonstrate all completion requirements in Level 5
 
Learn to Swim Level 6-Fundamentals of Diving
To refine strokes so students swim them with more ease, efficiency, power and smoothness over greater
distances. To introduce and practice fundamental springboard diving skills. 
 
Learn-to-Swim Level 6-Lifeguard Readiness
To refine strokes so students swim them with more ease, efficiency, power and smoothness over greater distances. To introduce and practice the skills required to successfully complete the pre-course session of the American Red Cross Lifeguard Training course.
 
Learn-to-Swim Level 6 - Personal Safety
To refine strokes so students swim them with more ease, efficiency, power and smoothness over greater distances. To teach students how to prevent aquatic emergencies in open water environments and to introduce and practice self-rescue techniques.

To provide home pool owners and apartment pool users with information to keep their family and guests safe in an aquatic environment.

To help teachers and youth leaders in children about safe behavior in, on or around the water.
To promote healthful aquatic recreation by increasing participants’ awareness of safe behavior in, on or around the water.
 
Fundamentals of Instructor Training (FIT)
To introduce instructor candidates to the history, structure and activities of the American Red Cross. To prepare instructor candidates to teach American Red Cross specialty courses to diverse populations. To introduce instructor candidates to the policies and procedures of the American Red Cross to ensure course consistency, quality and appropriate training.
 
Safe Baby Presentation
The purpose of the Safe Baby Presentation is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to help sustain an infant’s life and minimize the consequences of injury or sudden illness until advanced medical help arrives. The content and activities will help participants gain information on the prevention of injury and illness, with a focus on infant safety. The presentation will introduce participants to the principles of first aid.
 
Safety Training for Swim Coaches
To provide training in aquatic safety for competitive swim coaches and officials, athletic trainers, athletes participating in aquatic activities, aquatic exercise trainers and other individuals involved in aquatic
competition or exercise programs.

 To help students feel comfortable in the water and to enjoy the
water safely.
 
Learn-to-Swim Level 2- Fundamental Aquatic Skills
 To provide student with opportunities for success with
fundamental skills. Participant must have American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Level 1: Introduction to Water Skills certificate or demonstrate all completion requirements in Level 1.
 
Learn-to-Swim Level 3-Stroke Development
 To build on the skills in Level 2 by providing additional guided practice. Participant must have American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Level 2: Fundamental Aquatic Skills certificate or demonstrate all
