Lifeguard Training courses

Waterfront Lifeguarding Module
To teach lifeguards the skills and knowledge needed to prevent and respond to emergencies at a waterfront facility. Participant must possess a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training and First Aid certificate and possess a current American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer (ECC 2000) certificate
 
Waterpark Lifeguarding Module
To teach lifeguards the skills and knowledge needed to prevent and respond to emergencies at a waterpark facility. Participant must possess a current American Red Cross Lifeguard
Training and First Aid certificate and possess a current American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer (ECC 2000) certificate.
 
Sport Safety Training (includes Adult CPR)
 To provide individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide a safe environment for adult athletes while they are participating in sports and, in an emergency, to help sustain life and minimize the consequences of injury or sudden illness until medical help arrives.
 
 
Sport Safety Training with Adult and Child CPR
 To provide individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide a safe environment to adult and child athletes while they are participating in sports and, in an emergency, to help sustain life and
minimize the consequences of injury or sudden illness until medical help arrives.
 
 
Basic Water Rescue 
To provide individuals such as public safety personnel, aquatic fitness instructors and aquatic therapists, with
information and skills necessary to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies. This course will also prepare individuals for aquatic emergencies by teaching them how to protect themselves while assisting others.
 
 
Safety Training for Swim Coaches
To provide training in aquatic safety for competitive swim coaches and officials, athletic trainers, athletes participating in aquatic activities, aquatic exercise trainers, and other individuals involved.
 
 
Water Safety Instructor (r.04)
 Train instructor candidates to teach water safety, including the Basic Water Rescue course, six levels of the Learn to Swim and Parent and Child Aquatics Participant must be at least 16 years of age and possess an Fundamentals of Instructor Training (FIT) certificate.
 
 
Parent and Child Aquatics
To help develop swimming readiness by leading parents and their children in water exploration activities with the objective of having fun and becoming comfortable in , on and around the water.
